Can blizzard just make reputations account wide already

Out of 90-something possible exalted reputations, I have 92 on my main. I feel like if I want this number to go higher in future expansions I have to continue playing my main.I sometimes want to change mains at the beginning of every expansion but it kinda feels wrong.Would be very smart in my opinion to start making reputations account wide, needs an overhaul of rep system of course but that's understandable
