Timewalking Questing should totally be a thing. So much content awaits on the old continents!

I doubt Blizzard will ever update old continents like Draenor, Outland, Northrend and Pandaria with full content scaling; it's just too much work I reckon. So what ends up happening is that these remain largely unused, save for that one rare occasion when you level an alt through them (and even then, you barely spend any time on a continent since you level so quickly these days). The solution really is Timewalking. It makes sense lore-wise given how Chromie often sends us to safeguard the timelines, and there is even a gameplay system in place already which would only have to be modified. Here is how I imagine it would work:You talk to somebody like Chromie and say: "Hello, I would like to begin a Timewalking adventure on Pandaria, please."Chromie sends you away through time and space, and you end up at your faction's starting point to initiate the Pandaria quests.Your level has been set to 85.You've received a secondary equipment window, full of level 85 gear. You've received a secondary quest log with room for Timewalking quests. You have a buff called "Timewalking Adventure: Mists of Pandaria", which is what enables all of the aforementioned on your character, and allows you to spot Timewalking Quests in Pandaria. If you cancel the buff or talk to Chromie, you will exit Timewalker Questing-mode and resume where you left off in the normal gameplay, all your equipment and levels intact. While you are on Pandaria with the Timewalking buff active, you will get to experience the expansion anew, as if it had just been released. You'll get to do the story quests again, see the in-game cutscenes play out, and so on.The only difference between a regular playthrough of Mists of Pandaria and Timewalking Questing is that quests will also reward you with Timewalking currency, and that quest marks will appear with a different colour than normal. You may keep any loot you find, you may earn achievements, you may gather materials, etc.Once you decide to leave Timewalking by cancelling the buff, talking to Chromie, or by actually finishing the expansion's story, you are rewarded based on the progress you made. The buff will run out after about a week or two, so if you haven't logged on a character for a while, it won't remain in Timewalking Quest-mode.This is perfect for reliving old content as if it was new, without having to create alts for that strict purpose. It'll motivate you to do such content by providing small and relevant rewards and perks. It's a nice way to spend a weekend if questing and story is your thing.
